CentOS4.5在VMware上的安装

1、VMware Server Console配置
   File--->
   New Virtual Machine Wizard--->
   Custom--->
   Linux版本为Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4--->
   名称为：CentOS--->
   Make this virtual machine private--->
   User that powers on the virtual machine--->
   One--->
   256MB--->
   Use host->
   only networking--->
   LSI Logic--->
   Create a new virtual disk--->
   SCSI--->
   10g，不选择Allocate all disk space new，选择Split disk into 2GB files--->
      ……完成；
2、设置CD-ROM，选择Use ISO image：选择镜像文件；
3、开始安装，输入i586或者直接回车，输入i586将使用一些新特性
[1]：弹出提示框，是否检测硬盘，选择Skip，不进行检测；
[2]：选择界面语言next，选择English，选择U.S.English
[3]：选择Custom自定义安装，选择手工的分区方式Manually partition with Disk Druid，提示警告，选择yes
[4]：进行分区，首先分配交换分区swap(物理内存的两倍)，选中Force to be a primary parttion；其次分配其他分区etx3，将所有分区分给该分区Fill to maximun allowable size，挂接点选择/
[5]：设置网卡地址,Network Devices,选择Edit,不选择DHCP，设置IP地址192.168.0.200；hostname设置主机名zhaisx，网关为192.168.0.1
[6]选择不设置防火墙，时区选择上海，配置口令
[7]选择安装的软件：Applications下仅选择Editors即可
   System下Printing Support也不选择
   Development下的Development Tools和Legacy Software Development需要安装
[8]、开始安装
