1998年,Birk在索引编码中使用了干扰对齐的思想。

2006年,Maddah-Ali在MIMOX干扰信道中再次提到了干扰对齐的思想。

之后在MIMOX干扰信道下,获得了4/3的总自由度,这远远超过了之前学术界对干扰信道容量的认识。

干扰对齐(IA)这个词语最早出现在Jafar的关于MIMOX干扰信道自由度研究的文献中,

2008年,Jafar给出了K用户单天线干扰信道的自由度,系统化了干扰对齐的思想,给出了渐进干扰对齐的算法,成为干扰对齐的里程碑性事件。
