JULY-6 WORKING LOG

This week, I have passed the visa interview in July-2th, the visa interview is very easy, I answer the three question alltogether, the young handsome cosulate officer is satisfid with my answer, So I passed. I felt very happy, this is the day I will always rember. Before visa interview, I met some troubles, I forgot to bring my id card, I was refused to enter into the visa interview room. I felt neverous, I ask someone whether it was late or not when I go home to take my id card. he said to me it doesn't matter. So I take the taxi to home to get the id card and back to consulate house. all of these have been spent 67 yuan.it's luck for me that I'm late don't affect the visa interview. I was permitted to enter into the consulate office to have interview.

        The customer sent me 2 documents about their product by mail,  I learn it and know the perpose of our trip to America  is help  the customer  to develop map application. this application use the J2EE plantform and  Oracle database. I will learn the technical document in the next week. I felt a little nerveous, because we will go to America next Sunday and my oral English is very poor. I belive many guys in our company have met the same problem of communication with America. My leader has told me, all Amercian customer has reflected this question to our company. So the first thing I do is learn english, not reading with silence and writting, but reading aloud , speaking and listening. I figured my pronounciation has many questions, I should reading to follow the materials more and more.

        Finally, I think about my future in my company. As a developer for almost 9 years, I have accquired much experience, including project management, requirement analsis and design, system analysis and design, coding,software deployment, system test and system support. I'm puzzled with my future, what can I do and what do I want to do?  I believe many guys ask themself about two questions. Many people has no directions in their occupation. My comany is outsource in China to server foreign customers.  I think English is the base technology, no matter what your technology is perfect, if you can't communicate with customer, you will failed. So I must learn English to impress my customer and my company. the second step is I will try my best to project management, I will attend the PMP certificate in this year or next year. I felt more intresting with compute technology than project management. But I felt as a software developer in China were not admired, they should work overtime day by day, they are just cheap labors. this is not what I wanted. What's more, the compute technology changes fast, so we continually learn to master new technology, so we are accustomed with this market. But the project management changes so slowly, you can see all management concepts and methods is used for a long time. In China, project manager often lives better than developer. I decided I will become the PM. if I have extra time to do to something, I will continually to improve my technology!
