For Intel® System Studio version 2017 thefollowing applies:

·        Ensure that you areconnected to the internet and that https protocol based component downloads arepermitted by your firewall.

·        Copy  system_studio_2017.x.xxx_online.tgzinto a directory of your choice.

·        Extract file:
> tar xzvf system_studio_2017.x.xxx_online.tgz

·        Change into theextracted directory
> cd system_studio_2017.x.xxx_online

·        Invoke one of thefollowing (command line installer or GUI wizard):
> ./install.sh
> ./install_GUI.sh
following all instructions.
