Blah

Good evening! It’s been a long time since last time I write a blog. Igot some news –got a intern job! That ‘s first time, I been so excited, then I forgot to write a blog. Good new is I always write notes. Now I just need to sort out. So wish me good luck! Anyway, let’s go back to the topic. : )

Yeah, in order to improve English writing skill, I decide to write blog use English as far as possible. I try my best to write simple and clear. If you think which one to write is not standardized, please let me know, Thanks!
BTW, the Chinese version is right behind this, have fun!

Why I recive too large file error

Today when I move one large file (about 4.4G) from PC to my USB drive, I get this error message “The file is too large for the destination file system”. I sure there are much free space to put file in. It’s wired. I google this question.

In fact, the problem occurs because your file is large than 4 GB and your external hard drive is formatted in FAT32 format. You know, the max file size for FAT32 is 4GB.

How to fix it

Good news, it’s much easy! You just need to change your flash drive or external hard drive format from FAT32 to NTFS. You can open the drive just change it, it’s work. But formating will lead to lost all data on this drive.
If there are important data, you might need better solution.Converting FAT32 to NTFS without data loss, the third-party partition software is a nice choice, like EasrUS Partition Master.
