Can we learn much more from people whose views we share than from people whose views contradict our own? I think we can absorb much more from the formers, because agreement can cause stimulant to learn more and provide new inspiration to open our minds, disagreement can cause stress and inhibit learning.

While someone whose views are same with us, he can cause stimulant to learn more and provide new inspiration to open our minds. We come under positive impulse from he and try our best to learn much more, study more rapidly and attain more success. At the same time, we can get more inspiration to widen our vision and optimize our original methods. While we communicate someone with interest domain, we would feel excite and talk about it long time. After the talk, we would find that we comprehend much more about the domain.

When we talk with someone whose views contradict our own, since contradictive views exist, we could try to convince him that we are right and sustain stress which he try to persuade us to acknowledge his views. And we could be doubtful of our views, so not resume learning.

So we think we learn much more from people whose views we share.
