OSD相关定义解释

OSD (On-Screen Display) 屏幕视控系统。

早期的屏幕要调整设定，必须使用屏幕下方的旋转钮，可调整的功能较少。但是随着技术的进步，厂商发展出一项新的OSD功能，可在屏幕上显示屏幕的相关设定，操作的功能也比较多。

OSD(On-Screen Display) 是在屏幕上直接显示使用者所调整的结果和设定的内容，目前许多数字式的屏幕都支持OSD，因此屏幕可显示的宽度、高度、亮度、对比和色系等设定都是直接在画面上进行，这个功能是直接由显示器硬件所支持的，不必使用操作系统的驱动程序，即使显示器所连接的计算机不开机也可以使用OSD。

An on-screen display (OSD) is a control panel on a computer monitoror television screen that allows you to select viewing options and/oradjust components of the display, such as brightness, contrast, andhorizontal and vertical positioning.

Ona computer monitor, an on-screen display is usually activated bybuttons on the bottom of the monitor. As an example, one button maybring up a display of the brightness and contrast levels, which may be adjusted by pressing the monitor's up or down arrow buttons.

Ona television screen, an on-screen display can usually be activatedeither through buttons on the television set itself or through theremote control. Television on-screen displays are becoming increasinglycomplex and interactive. In addition to the visual calibration options,the on-screen display may allow you to view program information, searchfor programs, or put certain channels under parental control.
