Standards一词的含义

——DO-178B/ED-12B学习笔记之三

 

　　DO-178B/ED-12B的1.3条的第二段解释了standards一词在DO-178B/ED-12B中的含义：

　　Where this document uses the term "standards," it should be interpreted to mean the use of project-specific standards as applied by the airborne system, airborne equipment, engine, or aircraft manufacturer. Such standards may be derived from general standards produced or adopted by the manufacturer for its activities.

　　对应的法译文是：

　　Quand ce document utilise le terme de "règles", il faut l'interpréter comme significant l'utilisation de règles spécifiques à un projet et utilisées par le constructeur du système de bord, de l'équipement de bord, du moteur, ou de l'aéronef. De telles règles peuvent être établies à partir de normes générales produites ou adoptées par le constructeur pour ses activités.

　　NOTA : Le terme anglais "standards" a été systématiquement traduit par "règles".

　　需要注意的是，法译文特别注明把该文件中的所有standards都翻译为règles。而règles翻译为英文是rule。

　　但法译文在翻译1.3条的第二段时还是把后一个standards翻译为norme，可见法译文区分了règles和norme，而norme才是通常所说的“标准”。

　　参考法译文，试译原文如下：

　　在本文件使用“standards”这一术语之处，应把它们理解为机载系统、机载设备、发动机或航空器制造商使用的项目特定的规则。这些规则可以是从制造商为其活动所编制的或采纳的通用标准中派生出来的。

　　DO-178B/ED-12B的术语表中定义了standard：

　　A rule or basis of comparison used to provide both guidance in and assessment of the performance of a given activity or the content of a specified data item.

　　法译文：

　　Directive ou base de comparaison utilisée à la fois pour fournir un guide de réalisation et le mode d'évaluation d'une activité ou du contenu d'une unité d'information particulière.

　　试译如下：

　　一种准则或比较的基础，用于指导和评估特定活动的性能或特定数据项的内容。

　　在DO-178B/ED-12B中出现的“standards”主要是指：

　　——Software Development Standards

　　——Software Requirements Standards

　　——Software Design Standards

　　——Software Code Standards

　　根据4.5条，Software Development Standards包括了上述后三项。

　　按照1.3条的解释和法译文，上述四个术语宜分别译为软件开发规则、软件需求规则、软件设计规则、软件代码规则。

 

但是，如果觉得规则一词的层次没有标准高，或者已经习惯使用标准，那么以“标准”命名这类文件应该是符合DO-178B/ED-12B的要求的。

　　11.4.a条指出软件配置管理计划的环境中有“standards” ：

　　Environment: A description of the SCM environment to be used, including procedures, tools, methods, standards, organizational responsibilities, and interfaces.

　　11.５.a条指出软件质量保证计划的环境中有“standards” ：

　　Environment: A description of the SQA environment, including scope,　organizational responsibilities and interfaces, standards, procedures, tools and　methods.

　　但在2.2.3条的注2中出现的“standards”一词不是上述的含义：

　　In some cases, the software level may be specified in equipment minimum performance standards.

　　法译文没有把上面的“standards”译为“règles”，而是正确地译为“spécifications”：

　　Dans certains cas, on peut spécifier le niveau logiciel dans les spécifications de performances minimales de l'équipement.

 

附记：法译文中的significant好像不是一个法文单词，而是英文单词。与英文significant对应的法文单词是signifiant。
