Text:
Last week I went to the theatre. I had a very good seat. The play was very interesting. I did not enjoy it. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. They were talking loudly. I got very angry. I could not hear the actors. I turned round. I looked at the man and the woman angrily. They did not pay any attention. In the end, I could not bear it. I turned round again. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.
'It's none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'

bear v.

  1. Last week I went to the theatre.   Last week 很明显的时间状语,所以后面的动词用went to(原型是go to)。
    语法:go to the theatre 去看戏
  2. I had a very good seat.    had (原型是have)一般过去时,由于前面用的是过去时,这里保持时态一致。
  3. The play was very interesting. was (原型is) 一般过去时。
    interesting:adj.'
    interested:
    adj. 常用的词组是be interested in.
  4. I did not enjoy it.  did(原型do)一般过去时。
  5. A young man and a young woman were sitting behind me. were sitting (were原型are因为,是一男一女所以用复数)过去进行时。
  6. They were talking loudly.  loudly副词,were talking 语法点同第5条。
  7. I got very angry.   get angry生气(got原型get)。
  8. I could not hear the actors.
  9.  I turned round.  turn round转身。
  10. I looked at the man and the woman angrily.   look at看着某人,这里可以翻译怒视着,更贴切。
  11. They did not pay any attention.   pay attention注意。(did原型do)
  12. In the end, I could not bear it.    In the end最后,最终。I could not bear it.
  13. I turned round again.  turned round 见第9条。
  14. 'I can't hear a word!' I said angrily.
  15. 'It's none of your business,' the young man said rudely. 'This is a private conversation!'
    语法:none of your business不关你的事。
