1. MOST

1.1 media oriented

MOST Application Framework is used in MOST, instead of a device oriented modeling.

MOST defines Functional units, called Function Blocks(FBlocks) which are standardized, object-oriented interfaces to the respective applications.

While CAN is used as the in-vehicle network for the engine management, the body electronics like door and roof control, air conditioning and so on,

MOST is optimized for multimedia applications. MOST can be used for controlling tasks, however its strength lies in the transmission of streaming data

with high bandwidth and without buffering.
