地球一小时

世界自然基金会发起的第六个“地球一小时”（Earth Hour）活动即将举行。其中国部分将于北京时间3月31日晚上20时30分展开至21时30分结束。今年国内城市参与的数量再创新高，121个城市将以相同的方式倡导这一全球绿色理念。 今年“地球一小时”活动主题为：每个人心中都有位环保家。

Earth Hour 2012 will take place on March 31, 2012 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m

More than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011 alone, sending a powerful message for action on climate change. 

Earth Hour is organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). With almost 5 million supporters and a global network in over 100 countries/territories, it’s one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organisations. WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

今年的“地球一小时”活动将于2012年3月31日晚8:30至 9:30举行。

2011年的活动中，约有135个国家的5200个城镇为地球熄灯一小时，用实际行动强烈呼吁民众采取行动应对气候变化。

“地球一小时”活动是由世界自然基金会（WWF）组织的。WWF是世界上最大且最受尊敬的独立保护组织，在全球拥有将近500万名的支持者和一个覆盖100多个国家和地区的网络。它的使命是阻止地球自然环境的恶化以及构建一个人与自然和谐相处的美好未来。
