Ubuntu 13.10 64bit install beyond compare

OS: Ubuntu 13.10, 64bit

Beyond Compare 3.3.8 Linux TAR.GZ format

下载之后， 安装

$ tar -vxzf bcompare-3.3.8.16340.tar.gz

$ cd bcompare-3.3.8.16340

$ ./BCompare

./BCompare: error while loading shared libraries: libqtc.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or director

=====> you need execute the install.sh

$ ./install.sh

=====> it will install it under ~/bin/bcompare

~ $ bcompare

error while loading shared libraries: libxft.so.2

then you need to install the 32bit libxf2 not the 64bit 

sudo apt-get install libxft2:i386

安装 Debian AMD64  错误

如果安装 amd64 deb (sudo dpkg -i bcompare-3.3.8.16340_amd64.deb) 

会碰到 Package ia32-libs is not available, but is referred to by another packag

不清楚 ubuntu 13.10 后 ia32-libs 是否被删除。  

$ sudo dpkg -i bcompare-3.3.8.16340_amd64.deb

Unpacking bcompare (from bcompare-3.3.8.16340_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of bcompare:
 bcompare depends on ia32-libs; however:
  Package ia32-libs is not installed.

$ sudo apt-get install ia32-libs

Reading state information... Done
Package ia32-libs is not available, but is referred to by another package.

======> 只能 remove beyond compare. 

$ sudo dpkg -r bcompare
