Digital Image Processing

              USC Shoah Foundation - The Institute for Visual History and Education

• l  Implemented Image Manipulation, Noise removal, Image Enhancement, Edge Detection,Morphological Processing, Geometric Modification and Digital Halftoning on practical images.

• l  Implemented Texture Analysis and segmentation, Face warping, Optical Character Recognition(OCR) and Image segmentation on practical images.

National UndergraduateInnovation Program 

•  ProgramProject: Design of Smart Blind Crutch Based on UltrasoundResearch Assistant, Advisor: Professor Xijun Yan

• l  Realized the idea of using trigger button(pressure sensor) to decrease the error during the

  movement of the blind crutch

• l  Designed the three major modules (ultrasound, central control, pressure sensing)

• l  Designed and wrote partial program controlling the operation of crutch

Innovation Cup of HoHai University  

• Project: Photoelectric Automatically Controlled Mini Car Racing(Freescale)

• l  Designed program of processing the information from photoelectric sensor

• l  Designed Modified PID and Bang-Bang algorithm in controlling speed and steering of car’s racing

• l  Designed algorithm in identifying crossroads

0. Project: Setting Up and Scheduling of the Traffic Police Service Platform

   l  Distributed and rendered the proper jurisdiction of the service platform

   l  Estimated the optimal number of the service platform
