微软公司于2008年4月1日正式发布了 Windows Mobile 6.1 操作系统，包括新的滑动式今日界面、对话式的短信界面、新的任务管理器等一些新功能。接下来各手机厂商都会推出新款WM6.1系统的手机。如果你的手机还不是 Windows Mobile 6.1 的，又想体验新功能的话，现在你可以下载 Windows Mobile 6.1 模拟器镜像，亲身体会其每一项功能，每一处细节了。

    6.1版本模拟器镜像中新增支持以下几种分辨率:
    Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard：
    DPI: 131 - 分辨率: 320 x 320 像素
    DPI: 131 - 分辨率: 400 x 240 像素
    DPI: 131 - 分辨率: 440 x 240 像素
    Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional：
    DPI: 96 - 分辨率: 240 x 400 像素
    DPI: 192 - Resolution 480 x 800 像素

    运行条件：
    Microsoft Device Emulator（Visual Studio 高级版本中有，也有独立安装程序。）
    使用“Microsoft Device Emulator 启动程序”(本文末提供下载地址)可以不使用复杂的命令行参数，方便的配置启动 Microsoft Device Emulator。

Microsoft Device Emulator 启动程序：

    Microsoft Device Emulator 是可以在 Windows 中模拟运行 Windows CE/ Windows Mobile 系统的模拟器，有许多自定义选项，需要使用命令行启动。为了更方便的启动它，wbpluto 用 C# 编写了这个启动设置程序，这是 wbpluto 发布的第一个原创应用程序。
    无需使用命令行参数，只需鼠标点选几下就可按需启动 Microsoft Device Emulator
    完善的 Microsoft Device Emulator 3.0/2.0 选项(CPU相关的三个选项在2.0中不支持)
    自动搜寻当前文件夹下和系统中安装的设备仿真器程序
    自动搜寻已安装的设备映像(*.bin)或手动指定
    自动搜寻已安装的外观文件
    自动搜寻可用的网卡，以便与仿真环境绑定
