Can just one person make a difference? You bet in a community．every person counts．
Getting involved in your community is not all that hard．Take stock of your own talents and interests．Then find a need or an issue you really care about．

Don't wait for someone else to act first．Take the initiative! Once you see what you can accomplish．you'll want to keep going．

Here are just a few ways to make a difference in your community．How many more ways can you come up with?

Clean up the community

People often throw litter in places where there is already litter．And the problem only becomes worse until someone gets fed up and does something．Could your neighborhood use a clean up?

Neighborhood cleanups are often sponsored by local businesses or schools．But if your community doesn't yet have a cleanup program，get together with friends to organize one．You could pick up trash in a larger area twice a year．Or you could clean a smaller area every few months．Living in a spruced-up neighborhood will be a reward to itself.

投入你的社区并不是那么的困难。评估一下你自己的才能和兴趣，
然后找出一个你真正关心的需要或议题。

别等别人先行动，率先行动吧! 一旦看到自己所能成就的事，就会想要一直做下去了。
这里有几种可以改造你社区的方式。你还可以想出更多的方式吗？

打扫社区
在已经有垃圾的地方，人们常常会继续．随手乱丢。除非有人受不了，
而开始有所行动，否则问题会变得更严重。你的社区需要来个大扫除吗?

社区的大扫除常由地方上的企业或学校提供赞助，但如果你的社区
还没有大扫除计划，那就和三五个好友聚聚，一起筹划吧。
你可以每年两次在较大的区域收拾垃圾，或是每几个月来清理
较小的范围。能居住在一一个整洁的环境，本身就是奖赏了。
