matlab 数值算法工具箱 NAG toolbox

用了那么长的matlab,似乎很少听人提到过NAG toolbox ,今天用了,别有一番感受。

所谓NAG,就是 Numerical Algorithms Group 。http://www.nag.co.uk/

   The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) specializes in the provision ofsoftware for the solution of mathematical, statistical and data miningproblems. These components, together with the visualization softwareand additional services that NAG offers, are used by companies andinstitutions in a diverse range of industries spanning the globe. Theyuse them to enrich their applications developed to solve problems indisciplines such as financial analysis, science and engineering and inthe fields of education and academia.

   NAG was founded in 1970 as a collaborative venture combining thetalents of many globally renowned mathematicians. In 1971 NAG developedthe first mathematical software library, which, over the next threedecades, has evolved to become what it is today, the largestcommercially available collection of high quality mathematical andstatistical algorithms.


NAG数值算法库原来是用fortran写成的,但经过了30多年的发展已经可以在很多语言环境下调用,实际上,已经有了C语言版本和matlab NAG toolbox 。
