为什么说我getString()未定义？

public void commandAction(Command c,Displayable d)
{

int a=lst.getSelectedIndex();
String str;
str=getString(a);
lst.setTitle(str);

}
提示说我getString函数有错：
The method getString(int) is undefined for the type LC01
LC01是我的类名……

但是我是跟着视频一起做的，为什么视频上好好的，我的就错了呢？？？
