In Axure RP Pro 5.5, you can create custom widget libraries (.rplibfiles) that can be loaded into the Widgets pane. Custom libraries cancontain icons, design patterns or branded elements. Several samplelibraries are available for download on the Widget Libraries page, including a library of common icons and a library based on the Yahoo! Design Stencil Kit.

Library files saved in yourMy Documents/My Axure RP Libraries folder will automatically be loadedwhen Axure RP starts. To load libraries not saved in that folder,select "Load library" from the dropdown menu in the Widgets pane.

To create a widget library, select "Create library" in the dropdown menu in the Widgets pane, and create an .rplib file.

After the .rplib file is created, a separate instance of Axure RP Prowill open the library file. Because this is a library file, the Sitemapis replaced with a Widget Library pane where you can add, delete, andorganize the widgets just as you manage pages in the Sitemap.

Custom widgets are designed using existing widgets and images like apage. Below is a screenshot of a widget library including an EmailSubmission Field widget made up of a text panel, text field, andbutton. Tip: If you would like the custom widget to be a groupedelement when it is used on a page, you can group the widgets in thecustom widget (Ctrl+A to Select All and Ctrl+G to Group).

By default, the icon that will appear in the Widgets pane for thecustom widget is a preview based on the design. To import a customicon, right-click the widget in the Widgets Library pane and select"Widget Properties". In the Widget Properties dialog, you can also adda tooltip with information such as a description, instructions, andattribution. The tooltip will be displayed in the Widgets pane when theInformation icon next to the widget is clicked.

To view the widgets in the Widgets pane, first save the library file(File -> Save or Ctrl+S). Then, load the library in the Widgetspane. If it had been previously loaded, select the library and useRefresh Library in the menu. The widgets will be displayed in thewidgets pane and can be dragged to a wireframe like other widgets.
在Widgets“部件”面板中查看部件需要先保存库文件（File“文件”菜单，Save“保存”菜单项，或者Ctrl+S快捷键）。然后在Widgets“部件”面板中载入，如果已加载，则选择库后在菜单中选择Refresh Library“刷新库”。部件面板中将显示部件，可以像其他部件一样拖放到线框中。
