每天都学习一点，记录下我认为的重点

1、什么时候用机器学习？

 

About learning.

观察→→学习→→技能、技巧

 

About machine learning.

Data→→ML→→skill（某一种表现的增进）

 

①某些目标能够让机器学习（是某一种表现增进）

②不知道怎么定义，怎么规则

③有大量的data

 

2、ML在哪些领域的应用

Food

Data：Twitter data(words+location)

Skill：tell food poisoning likeliness of restaurant properly

 

Clothing

Data: sales figures + client surveys

Skill: give good fashion recommendations to clients

 

Housing

Data: characteristics of buildings and their energy load

Skill: predict energy load of other buildings closely

 

Transportation

Data: some traffic sign images and meanings

Skill: recognize traffic signs accurately

 

Education

Data:students’ records on quizzes on a Math tutoring system

Skill: predict whether a student can give a correct answer to another quiz question

 

Entertainment: recommender system

Data: how many users have rated some movies

Skill: predict how a user would rate an unrated movie
