Abstract

This article talks about six vocabulary words that every TOEFL student should know.


1. Word lists

Subsequently adv. following or coming after things.

eg: This research paper and all subsequent papers must have your name written on them.


Infrequently adv. almost never.

eg: It infrequently rain in south Africa.


Scatter v. spread out or separated by a wide space.

eg: The children left the toys scattered on the floor.


Flourishing adj. active and growing.

eg: A young man of flourishing would needs a proper guidence.


Mediocre adj. of average quality.

eg: The restaurant was just mediocre.


Approximately adv. almost correct but not exact.

There are approximately 145 countries in the world.
