Abstract
This article talks about how to use causative verbs, such as make, let, have, get and help.
1. Make
Make sb so sth.
eg: She made me wash the dishes. (She forced me to wash the dishes.)
2. Let
Let sb do sth.
eg: My dad let me go by myself. (My dad gave me permission to go by myself.)
3. Have
Have sb do sth.
eg: The teacher had the students do the assignment. (The teacher asked the students to do the assignment.)
4. Get
Get sb do sth.
eg: She got me to mow the lawn. (She persuaded me to mow the lawn.)
5. Help
Help sb do sth.
eg: He has helped me improve my English. (He has aided me to improve my English.)
